Qualifications

  • Applicants must have relevant experience in technology system interconnections and management of automated aviation, navigation and electronics systems. Specific qualifications vary depending on the level desired, as follows:
  • For FV-F level: Must have 3 years of general work experience in relevant fields.
  • For FV-G level: 1 year of specialized work experience equivalent to the lower level.
  • For FV-H, FV-I and FV-J levels: Extensive knowledge and experience in technology system interconnections, usually meeting the minimum qualifications in lower pay bands or equivalent positions.
  • The applicant must have a valid driver’s license.

Education

  • Applicants who qualify at the FV-F level based on education must have a bachelor’s degree in fields such as computer science, mathematics, electronics, physics, information management, engineering, telecommunications, or related fields. Alternatively, at least 24 accepted semester hours in these areas or a combination thereof.
  • Applicants qualified at the FV-G level on the basis of education must have a Ph.D. There should be. or equivalent doctoral degree or such degree requires completion of three years of progressively higher-level graduate education or has obtained the LLM degree. If related.
  • Note that education is not a qualifying factor for the FV-H, FV-I and FV-J grade levels in the 2101 series and a valid driver’s license is required.
