Qualifications

  • Attorney positions within the Secretary of the Navy Offices (SECNAV) in the Department of the Navy require the following education:
  • Applicant must have a US citizen.
  • J.D. from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association Or L.L.B. Have graduated with.
  • He has been an active member of the Supreme Court of any State, United States Commonwealth, United States Territory, or District of Columbia.
  • Admission is required to practice before a state or federal court.
  • He has to obtain a secret security clearance and maintain it.
  • The patent attorney must also be a member of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Organization.
